CPS Technician Training Offered

Safe Kids Clark County is offering the National Standardized Child Passenger Safety Technician Training class in July and September. Class dates are July 16-18 and Sept. 12-15. Times are generally 8a-5:30p (exception is July 18: 8a-8:30p) with a car seat checkup event on the final day at the end of class. To register, go to the Safe Kids Worldwide web site at www.safekids.org/certification and click on the “Find a Course” link on the right side of the page.

Child passenger safety technicians teach parents to install and use their car seats in their vehicles correctly. Since over 98% of car seats are installed and used incorrectly in Clark County, techs are greatly needed.
