CPSC Urges Consumers to Stop Using Simplicity 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 Convertible “Close-Sleeper” Bassinets
The Consumer Products and Safety Commission is urging consumers to immediately stop using Simplicity 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 Convertible "Close-Sleeper" bassinets because of a strangulation hazard. Two infants have been strangled because they slipped between metal bars in the bassinet spaced farther apart than the 2 3/8" allowed by the federal safety standard.
